 I don't know if this feature already exists somewhere, but let's suppose I
 make a change to an .i file and I mistakenly made a syntax error in the
 script. If that module or service happened to be critical... ouch.

 It would be good if there could be a .i.default in case the faulty  module
 didn't get loaded, so that the error gets logged and the .i.default file
 takes place. Sort like Abort/Retry/fail, but in this case we could have an
 abort/retry/retry-default case.

 This way I can safely make modifications in .i files without having to
 worry about a kernel panic.
