 after using initng for several weeks now, i've just recently discovered
 that cupsd was never started. (while sending a print job) i use debian sid
 (updated)

 laptop:~# ngc -u cupsd
  initNGControl (0.6.10 ) by Jimmy Wennlund http://www.initng.org/
 Service "cupsd" previously failed (NOT_FOUND),
 it needs to be zaped "ngc -z cupsd", so initng will forget the failing
 state before you are able to retry start it.

 also, i tried this hack but it didn't help much:
