Comment:

 There is no reason for /boot to be mounted automatically.  In some
 situations it's actually a security risk and as far as I'm aware, unless
 you're installing new kernels there is nothing that needs to access it
 when the system is running.

 Feel free to re-open the bug if there is something that does need /boot
 mounted, but for now it's staying as-is.
