 at the end of the initng boot process, X starts and flashes 2 to 4 times
 (on vt6).
 by flashing i mean: it switches from text vt mode and to graphic mode
 (showing X cursor in the middle of the screen) and back a few times.
 on some boots, after 2 flashes i end up in kde desktop (i have autologin)
 and on most of the other times, after 4 flashes i end in vt6 text mode
 login prompt.
 if i switch to vt7 I'm in kde's desktop.

 strange inconsistency.

 1. what about this inconsistency ?
 2. should it go directly to X and start kde without flashing ?
