 This one's pretty self explanatory:

 # ngc -H[[br]]
 initNGControl (0.6.8svn ) by Jimmy Wennlund http://www.initng.org/[[br]]

 ngc understand this commands:[[br]]
 short Option                          : description[[br]]
 [-t] --states <opt>                   : Print out all possible
 states.[[br]]
 [-t] --time opt                       : Print uptime

 'ngc -t' does the former, lists states.
