Initng doesn't generates logs in it's own, you can try enabling the
history plugin, that lets you review the status changes with a ngc
command...
If syslogd started correctly, then initng will start sending logging
information to it.
If it hangs at some point, you can see the failing services with
Alt + Up_Arrow.
