I don't often reply to this mailing list, but today I think it is appropriate.  
Since initng is the work of many, it is important that the decision to switch 
is that of many too.  One person cannot decide that the entire project should 
switch.

I start a new job tomorrow, but I have a printed copy of the GPLv3 (and the 
GPLv2 for comparison) and a highlighter.  So assuming I have some time on my 
lunchbreak, tomorrow night I will have comments to make on it.  I have not 
read any of the v3 drafts or indeed the comment of anyone about those drafts 
or the final version, so I'm going in with a completely open mind.
