This is the first external contribution in a long time. :D

This plugin needs to be ported to the 0.7 series after
the 0.7.0 release, because eye-candy is a very important
feature ;).

BTW, We really need a logging subsystem. This isn't a
difficult task, and the reason to have it is to provide a
consistent interface to logger-like plugins. All plugins that
log/display information, like cpout, should use the same
interface.
